Unwanted hair can be a cause of significant distress for many individuals. In the past, management of hair removal has been through electrolysis or waxing and plucking. These methods, unfortunately, provide only temporary relief. Electrolysis is slow and tedious. Whilst it may damage a hair permanently, it requires the needle to be inserted into each follicle and then applying electric current to destroy the hair follicle. Many treatments are required to achieve a satisfactory result. As well, scarring can occasionally occur. Scientific advances in medical laser technology can now provide us with a gentler, safer and faster solution to the problem of unwanted hair.
